45D elbow

Combine two drainage risers with a center-to-center distance of 23 cm into one. The distance between the combination of the oblique tee and the 45D elbow is 16 cm, which is still 7 cm away from the actual situation. The vertical distance differs by 7 cm, so let's first calculate the length of this vertical 7 cm inclined pipe.

According to the calculation formula of isosceles right-angled triangle: hypotenuse = right-angled side × root number 2 (that is, 1.414), which is converted into 7×1.414, which is about 10 cm, that is, adding another 10 cm tube can achieve what we want to stand tube size of.

On the accessory side, a pipe connection is also needed. The actual length of this inclined pipe is 8 cm. We use the length of the inclined pipe calculated above plus the length of the pipe on the fitting, and the calculated length is the total length of our inclined pipe.

Use this short tube with the oblique tee just now and the 45D elbow, the center of the two tube nozzles will be 23 cm. What about those two 45D elbows? In fact, the same is true of the above. We first need to measure how much the two parts can climb together. Subtract the climbing height of the fittings from the actual climbing height of the pipe, and then ×1.414 is the net pipe length.

Under what circumstances do you need to add accessories to the calculated net pipe, and under what circumstances do you not need it?

In fact, it depends on the connection method of the pipeline, such as the PVC pipe, which uses the socket connection. There must be a section of pipe in the middle of the socket connection. If we don’t count this section of pipe, the length will not be right. If it is a clamp connection, there is no need to add fittings to the clean pipe. Use the climbing height directly, subtract the height of the fittings, and multiply by 1.414 to get the clean pipe.
